The gears are starting to turn. In 31 days, I’ll be headed to the Vancouver Olympics to cover Vermont’s Olympians!
Currently, I’ll be writing for the Stowe Reporter and Waterbury Record, where I’m a staff writer and the papers’ Web editor. In addition, I’ll be doing daily, live radio updates on WDEV – a local station broadcasting in Northern New England. This is extremely exciting as we’ll be able to bring the Games home to many more people interested in following our local athletes. Also in the works is coverage for the Valley News, a daily paper covering the upper valley of Vermont and New Hampshire, and some work for television station WCAX out of Burlington – the local CBS affiliate.
In this blog I’ll chronicle all kinds of things, from off-the-cuff posts, to athlete interviews and updates before and during the Olympics – there will be photos and videos, too. So, check back soon.
